The cherry tomato is native to Israeli , it was introduced and cultivated in Sicily island in the late 1980. The tomatoes are small, round, with even clusters composed of 25 pieces, they have a deep red color and maintain their characteristics for a period of 2- 3 weeks after collection. It is low in calories, only 19 to 100 grams and contains vitamins and a good amount of potassium. Very important is its lycopene content with protective, purifying and antioxidant properties.
